Funny or fucked-up?: WKRP in Cincinnati is finally coming out on DVD, held up for years due to rights clearances, with Muzak dubbed in for the songs they couldn't acquire rights to.

See, I have the opposite reaction.
For instance, I never quite comprehended the complex, interwoven layers of meaning and semantics in Diff'rent Strokes until I viewed the series with adult eyes.

I've found that the DVDs of any TV show over five years old usually don't live up to my idealized memories. That's like, why I haven't bought the Dungeons & Dragons saturday morning cartoons yet. Duhr.
