seriously. i have envisioned many possibilities for my life—a shockingly large number featuring hot ladies in bikinis—but not a one involve Pamela Anderson. ever.

I had the marketing smarts, connections, and money to have started a viral campaign like this, because it is sheer genius. GENIUS! But I think it's all Pam's doing. If this all goes well, that lady genius is gonna get a brand-spankin'-new health insurance policy named after her.

Second printing already happened, I think, so feel free to start in on the forward for the third.

annie anderson sent me a link to that photo yesterday, and i too thought maybe you'd launched some sort of brilliant marketing/unmarketing campaign. next up: nicole ritchie toting "hey kidz! buy this book" in her beach bag, and the cast of "high school musical" rdg back issues of punk planet. in any case, i can't believe how many websites/gossip blogs made a feature story out of pamela anderson...READING!!!! she must've been extra thoughtful about choosing the right book, knowing the internet would be all abuzz about her reading selection...and her bikini. if i think too hard about this, i feel like i could come up with some crazy conclusions...free marketing for "unmarketable" due to a heavily marketed person unknowingly marketing it, etc. instead i'm just going to laugh.
