I didn't know people still cared about the British pop "sensation" the Spice Girls. Well apparently, Scary Spice has been knocked up by Eddie Murphy. Their offspring is predicted to have a successful future since his parents are total failures.

Remember Spice World?

um, you mean his parents are fabulously successful and wildly wealthy.
If I wasn't seeing the visual I would swear that was an Alanis parody.
Is that it? Is life all about eventually slipping into self-parody and then ultimately deciding whether to accept it/laugh it off, or becoming completely miserable because of the realization that you can do nothing about it or slipping deeply into denial?
And I'm not talking about people's perception of you, I'm talking about your perception of yourself.
Does any of this even matter?
Shit is totally fucked up?!
I don't roll deep with the Black-Eyed Peas.
But I still agree with the whole slipping into self-parody inevitability.
Shut the fuck up Greg. You on-line gambling-addict motherfucker.
Best shit she's ever done.
But I'm not going to admitt it.
I didn't know this was a cover, and figured that Alanis was creating a cutesy, inane original as mild, overdone commentary about the portrayal of women in pop vidoes over the last decade.
The fact that the Black Eyed Peas actually made a song- bland Greek Row party music or not- with such DUMB, degrading lyrics makes Alanis' effort, complete with the standard drawn-out yodeling, funnier.
