Well, Head Chef again.
Xmas approaches. It will be very busy indeed, we're quite booked out, and my new Italian Monday Evening menu seems to be taking off. Yesterday I went into work to have a Coffee and ended up working for 4 hours, the evening service, because Alvin, my Sous Chef, got a phonecall from his wife saying his daughter had just gone into labour. So I had to cover for him, you can't be a cunt about things when something like that happens. Thing is, I'm looking down the barrel of a 50 hour week this week with a lot of STUFF on.
Never mind.
Bought some speakers yesterday for my walkman(retro eh) so now I have mega bass and loud punk rock fills the hallways.
Just got a call from Adam my bassplayer, he just got back from Cali and NY (he's from Brooklyn) and Cale our guitarist filled him in on the news that I don't wanna play drums no more, and he seems cool with it thank fuck. So I gotta get my bike fixed now, sell it, and buy a guitar and amp. Looks like I'm gonna be playing gat and singing at the gig we play on 29th December so I have to get my ass in gear. Gonna be great playing guitar again, I can't wait.
Man I'm so busy. And I'm earning so much money. I hope it all works out. Already planning a Holiday in Melbourne in 2 months time, and hopefully head over to Englan in September. It all depends on how the band goes, we were aiming to go tour Japan sometime this year. So we'll see. Interesting how life gets busier and more rewarding without being an alcoholic drugfiend isn't it?

Yes, well...
I'm actually supposed to be hooking up with that old reprobate DCPunk Mike Mirenzi as he's heading over to the UK with his missus to visit MR SIZEMORE in Sept. Thing is, I have relatives in DC who I'd like to go see, and Mike's always trying to get me to come hang out there. So maybe I'll stop in in the U.S. of A during my travels. I'd sure like to. And Boston wouldn't be that far away would it?
We'll see. This all depends on me staying clean and doing my job properly. One day at a time, you know.
Boston-DC is a pretty easy trek to make. Hell, I can't hlep but wonder about making it a triumverate..but, we'd have to talk to Mike about that.

hmmm
Boston would be a pretty easy layover on the way to England
*hint hint*
