I've come across this picture several times and I think these kids look amazing and even better in goth.

THey look like they should have giant glass eyes and starring in a Japanese cartoon about pop music saving the day against space aliens or something...there'd be lots of sexual innuendo somewhere in there too despite the unseen, bariton-voiced narrator telling us they're only in middle school.
At least one of them would get a really self-depricating, uber-angsty soliloquy with a sunset in the background.
While we're on the subject of insidious advertising and media manipulation, that some ad firm actually puts out altered images like this to promote their clients projects in some sort of roundabout quasi-counterculture way.
In short, you are basically virally advertising for them.

I don't think I like it. It bears the hallmark of someone with Photoshop and too much time on their hands. But hey, at least it isn't yaoi of Harry and Draco Malfoy getting all teh ghey together.
