Q) How long should it take for my subscription to start?
A) Generally subscriptions start 6-8 weeks after placing your order. On occasion it may happen sooner, and it may happen later. If you haven’t gotten a first issue in more than about 12 weeks, you might want to get in touch by email subs[at]punkplanet[dot]com .
Q) I changed my address with the Post Office, why haven’t I received any issues of Punk Planet since I moved?
A) We mail out using bulk mail, which does not forward. You must change your address directly with us by emailing subs[at]punkplanet[dot]com or by filling out this online form. Sorry, but we can’t be responsible for supplying missed issues if you don’t change your address with us.
Q) I would like to start my issue with #...
A) Once we add your name to our database of subscribers, you will be included in the next bulk mailing. Sometimes this means you will receive the current issue on newstands, but most often, you will receive the upcoming issue. We send our subs out using bulk mail and this allows us to have a low subscription price. So, sorry but we can’t let you choose which issue you would like to start with. If you would like to know which issue your sub will start with, just drop an email to subs[at]punkplanet[dot]com .
Q) Can I use my subscription to buy back issues?
A) Nope. Our subscription rate is much cheaper than buying individual back issues. This is because we use bulk mail for subscriptions. Because of this discrepancy in price, you will need to order back issues online from the merch table.
Q) If I give Punk Planet as a gift, do you send a card or anything?
A) We send a postcard letting the person know that you gave them a sub. However, it can sometimes take us awhile to do this (especially at holiday times), so you might want to let them know on your own (unless you don’t mind waiting).
Q) When does my subscription run out?
A) We will send you a postcard four months (two issues) before your subscription runs out. You can always email subs[at]punkplanet[dot]com anytime and we’ll let you know the status of your subscription.
