I just feel like yelling. I'm cranky. And then I thought about that woman who you said told you that Chicago's weather is milder than London's.

Do you know, that we are going to to get SNOW SHOWERS tomorrow?! SNOW. MID-OCTOBER.

So when you all are trotting about in light slickers, WE are SUFFERING with BITING WINDCHILL AND FREEZING TEMPERATURES.

Chicago's summers warmer than London's, yes.

Chicago's winters colder, yes.

Now, MILDER means MODERATE. YOUR TEMPERATURE IS MODERATE AND OURS IS EXTREME.

Say it.

My argument is one of PRINCIPLE. The fact that there is actually someone out there who believes London has harsher weather than Chicago in unacceptable. That's like saying Venus is closer to the sun than Mercury.

i got to wear a sweater today

a nice j crew wool sweater, with paper brand green corduroys. im sure this is like a hot afternoon in minneapolis kinda weather, but this cold snap has made it possible to finally wear corduroys and sweaters!
