Something tells me that I'm probably not the only lover of sushi on the board. What are some of your favorite rolls and/or dishes? And hell, if any of you can reccomend Sushi restaurants in Boston (or Providence) that'd be great too.

Get the spicy tuna roll.
A great starter-out sushi roll, and still my favorite.
However, I don't know Boston and/or Providence too well.

I used to sneek into majour stores dumpsters, like wally mart, and canadian tire, they'd throw out the coolest stuff, like working christmas lights, or air guns that have a scratch on it so they can't sell it. The problem is, they have barbed wire fences and 3 cameras and 24/7 security, so you have to be in and out.

-Too old to be clean, far

Eel is definitely my favorite. I usually get a bowl of them w/ rice, pickled daikon radish, kim chi and lobster.

Second favorite would have to be Salmon Roe

I eat so often at a place down the street from my apt. that as soon as I'm seated they bring me extra spicy red bean sauce.

Trust me, I definitely wouldn't eat dumpster obtained sushi. Hell, I wouldn't eat anything obtained from a dumpster.

weird thing is

I ate more sushi back in the UK than I have here. The Japanese by and large think of vegetarianism as something that happens to other people. Other people who they would probably eat given half a chance, as they seem to like eating everything else. I know of at least one restaurant that serves bowls of whale spunk.

hmmm

that´s what my girlfriend also told me, that in Japan, no one eats sushi just as a regular food, but only at momentous occasions or whatever.
