I think you are a Level 2 Racist because on the surface you aren't racist at all. On this level you enjoy the movies for the slice of life they portray (i.e. the black slice), but on the level beyond that things get nasty. On this level you secretly know that you only like this "blackness" because you have guilted yourself into taking an extra concerted effort in liking "urban" movies, because you infact despise black urbanites. Thus, you alternate nervously laughing at the "big dumb ghetto apes" out of some type of social guilt and wickedly laughing because "ha ha they are big dumb apes."
Now, I could be a Level 3 Racist which I haven't decided yet. This means I watch these movies and falsly enjoy them (i.e. the original Friday), then secretly know I'm only accepting this cartoonish portrayal of black urbanites because I infact despise black urbanites, then realize that every main stream comedy today is a cartoonish portrayal of some element of society, but then come to the horrifying conclusion that I'm unfairly emphasizing my dislike toward comedies relating to the "urban folk" because I can't stand the way they are portrayed, and how all are based on tired black stereo types, but then realize that these stereotypes are based on some ounce of truth which means that black people do act like this and I don't like it.
This thread just goes to show what I've been saying all along: Greg's a big jerk. "No," people said. "He's just misunderstood," etc.
Well, now we see the true face of evil that lies behind that folksy "good old boy" persona.

You know on Coast to Coast Am the other night James Arthur Ray (no relation to Earl sadly - http://www.coasttocoastam.com/shows/2006/11/13.html) offered positive techniques in order to deal with everyday strife, because the human mind evidently can't comprehend negatives - which is why we dwell on them... so instead of saying:
