2006 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I'll namby YOUR pamby if you don't watch out.
I'm gonna have to say that I had some pretty darn good things happen for me in '06 as well. So stop your whinin' you namby pambies.
Sure, some good things happened, but the year overall was a bit of a stinker for me, especially here at the exit end. But my brutha got married, and I went to India, and I got some great tattoos. But 2005 was a WAY better year. Holla, 2005. In fact, here's my top ten of the last ten:
1. 2005 (Chicago, job, holiday bonus, Morocco, best apt.)
2. 2004 (job, bonus, moved to great apt, BUT election crapola)
3. 2002 (okay enough job, coworker sex, lotsa drinkin', got BIG tattoo)
4. 2000 (Australia, great summer job, emphatically ridded myself of my "cherry," BUT election debacle)
5. 2001 (out of college, into Chicago, BUT unemployment and 9/11)
6. 1997 (out of H.S. and into college, great summer job at movie theatre)
7. 1999 (great summer in Madison, first tattoos)
8. 2003 (extended unemployment, small apt with fighty neighbours, BUT acquired best kitten in the world)
9. 1998 (living in WORST DORM ON CAMPUS, emotional roller coaster, BUT started stretching earlobes)
10. 2006 (you know this part...)
