Regardless of what anyone says. Porn is made primarily for men. Men make up most of % of consumers of pornography. So by the law of averages, it's nearly always men who view this crap, and look at these women as a place to hold their penis, instead of actuall intellectual human beings that should be regarded with respect.
These are the people that are responsible for being mothers, raising children etc, while at the same time are struggling to be treated the same as us men are.
I personally cannot respect any women who is willing to put thereself in a purposefull positition of being a sex object and a means to relieve men of their sexual frustrations.

there are many feminists who'd agree with you. and an ever growing number who wouldn't. this is a topic of some serious contention within feminism today... but what it comes down to for the pro-sex and pro-porn feminists (yep, there's such a thing) is that sex is great, sex is fun, and sex -- done right -- is a liberatory and egalitarian activity for all involved. from there... see below...
it really comes down to how you see sex... i see sex as natural and healthy. i also see desire and fantasy as natural and healthy. and that includes jerking off to a fantasy of a woman whom is, in that context, little more than a sex object, yep. and don't delude yourself for a SECOND that sexually healthy women don't do the same. they do. women are very sexual creatures and have wonderfully objectifying fantasies about men... it's all good. very good. :)

you're right: most porn is made for men, and plays to absurdly unrealistic and woman-demeaning patriarchal fantasies. and is part of a very exploitative business system (that's putting it nicely).
and that's exactly the point behind feminist porn... feminist porn recognises that women are sexual creatures, too. they have their desires and their fantasies. thus, feminist porn plays up the FEMALE gaze, and plays upon womens' fanstasies and womens' desires. and does so in a way that is not patriarchally demeaning. and there are an ever-growing number of WOMEN producers of porn who are doing exactly this in their work. i've read a number of articles in local weeklies talking to and about these producers/directors in recent months.
