you should set your fake

you should set your fake tough guy talk to JSB's fugues and preludes.

It doesn't mater if it doesn't scan very well initially. You just get the vowel in the last sylable, and stretch it out to cover every note in the melody, until the phrase ends.

Thats what all the other choral composers do, so why not hav a go yourself?
