since i have been moving i have been packing like 3,000 albums and i recently rediscovered the first two joan of arc lps ("a portable model"/"how memory works"). i dont care about any other kinsella related shit, just those two records. yeah, everyone sounds like that now, and i felt like a pussy when i thought "gee, i can have a band like this!" 10 yrs later it is pretty futile, but i like arty bullshit i guess.

Never cared for Joan of Arc,

Never cared for Joan of Arc, so I suppose there's no reason to even respond to this. I always found The Promise Ring's 30 Degrees Everywhere to be the best post-cap'n jazz effort or maybe Sky Corvair's one and only album.
