So a few days ago this torrent appeared with thousands of leaked inter office emails of a company named Media Defender. The emails detail their ongoing projects of messing with p2p clients by providing fake files that track users IP addresses (that are then turned over to the RIAA, etc) and all sorts of other ridiculous crap including denial of service attacks against torrent tracker sites. One torrent site, The Pirate Bay is having none of this and are pursuing legal action against the company and it's clients (20th Century Fox, Universal, Sony BMG, etc.)

You can download the torrent of the leaked emails here:

http://torrents.thepiratebay.org/3806944/MediaDefender.Mail.200612.20070...

and maybe find out what partial files you might have downloaded that Media Defender is responsible for--99.9%! Please Re-seed! as well as what software developers and database administrators eat for lunch!
