Benazir Bhutto NOOOOOOOOO!

It sounds like people in Pakistan were surprised which I thought was surprising because I, like R John, didn't feel especially surprised. Too bad though. Also:

Some guy named Bantrum on Youtube made several videos about how Bhutto "had it coming," before his account was suspended/deleted. He claimed, basically, that Bhutto was a U.S. puppet who would have been exactly like Hussein and the Shah of Iran, that her election campaign was a U.S. backed coup, and that her death was ultimately a manifestation of a people's desire for autonomy. I could not win an argument with this douchebag, not because his points were better reasoned than mine, in fact many of his arguments were absurd, but he would have this way of focusing on the least probable interpretation of a sentence, or arguing over the definition of the word "culture," bogging down the argument in superfluous hair splitting. Debating him on any given issue, no matter how weak his argument, was like trying to wrestle with an eel.
