But FUCKEMOS are really seriously a good band, even if they are a Killdozer rip-off! Like, just the other day, I was driving thru Apache Powder, AZ, with Chris Z listening to the FUCKEMOS, and he was all like, "Man, these guys should have scored a million movies back in the '90s. What happened?" And I was all like, "They stayed true to themselves."

I'm not sure who Jen apple breasts is...

But Les Savy Fav is awful.

Awful enough to elicit a comment that simply states that they are awful. More awful than 95 percent of all bands/artists ever.

I'd much rather listen to the Batman Forever soundtrack.

Pitchfork darlings

Between these guys and Animal Collective I'm not sure who Pitchfork fawns over more.

This isn't really a great argument coming from me as I like most Animal Collective.

But Pitchfork totally missed the mark with these guys.

Probably an entertaining live show though...for 5 minutes.

I may have actually been involved in that short-lived board craze, I don't really remember. I do still like 'em though. I think the Weakerthans craze might have been way bigger. Amber was the superfan leader.

New Model Army SHOULD be on that list, but, the only ones (I know of) who like 'em are: Dan P, Miranda the non-elder (who prefers their older stuff) and myself.
