definitely comes down on the right side of the green / red apple debate, but otherwise those fruits are way too mainstream for Alan. What Benderson is to emo, Alan is to food.

I don't think Alan eats anything without sugar and/or Sriracha sauce.

So, fruit probably isn't his first choice. But, if he had to, he'd probably eat it.

I have no opinion on red apples vs. green apples, except that they both have gross nasty bitter skin and vastly inferior to pears. Also, I eat plenty of things that have neither sugar nor Sriracha. Also, I can't believe the cads who made this thing put bananas below the center line of the "tasty/untasty" scale.

The ubiquity of mango cut

The ubiquity of mango cut like a pine cone and served on a stick is the only good thing about summer in New York City. Grapefruits I never quite understood.

Grapefruits are vaguely palatable. Grapefruit juice is okay, but the whole fruit is more trouble than it's worth.
