$250 for an early painting a friend did.
He isn't much of a friend now. He left his wife and kid, took up with a younger French woman and moved to Paris. He has also become an artist of some fame, so I suspect I got a great deal.

I also consider my 1964 Dodge Dart a work of art and I paid $1600 for it.

thanks, i'm asking because

thanks, i'm asking because i'm eyeing something from multiple people ranging from $150 to $300, multiple sellers, different versions, trying to make the wisest choice...of course, i'm hoping to go with the least expensive one, but having to wait for certain sellers to get back with me about quality of print, etc.

there has also been a painting i have had my eye on for a couple years or so, but only exists in original form, and artist is selling it for $900 which i can't afford, and don't think i will ever be able to drop. but maybe on day...
