This problem I have with my floating ikea shelves made me realize that it is impossible to find information on how to disassemble anything other than firearms. There needs to be a web site telling people how to disassemble things. I happen to disassemble things a lot. I can't go into it but I have taken apart my fair share of ikea furniture. This shit is impossible.

If sledgehammers worked over the internet, I would be at once elated and horrified.

It would bring up questions over what other physical devices and actions could occur over the internet. Smashing websites with hammers over the internet. Physical beat-downs. Sex (not the cyber kind, but the actual, awkward, physical variety.) Murder.

Taking off the shelf was easy as shit. For anybody else in the future, the screws are on the bottom of the shelf. I just couldn't see them/too stupid to look closer.
