We Like to Rock the Party!

It's a comedy show called Flight of the Conchords.
All the rage on HBO apparently, but I am not to know these things, having acess only to very boring local TV, and even more boring BBC World Service.
I only found out about it because I was in NZ recently and picked it up.
RE: The NZ issue generally. I suspect NZ is spared the full brunt of Australa's patronising meanness because we already have TASMANIA for that.
Is it all like, "Hey, we occupy the biggest continent in this general area (disregarding all the people who lived there already whom we killed). Eat it." Further: another Australian of my acquaintance was a child emigré from a Communist East European country, and he told me, "I am thankful every day of my life that my parents settled in Canberra and not Washington," and I was like, "That's fair," having lived in Washington. So it's all relative. As bad as you think the patronising meanness is it could probably be far worse.
I would have been working on this show, but I had a falling out with some of the people, I guess. I think the show is rather unfunny except for some of the music videos. It has a cool hip look to please the beau monde. But whenever I catch an episode, I just see it as money out of my pocket.
Not as good as the Boosh, but still pretty on the mark.
Jemaine's deadpan apeals to me.
now I want to know what the falling out was about.
and, what people it was with.
