Well given the relative dearth of posting around here I don't think I can be blamed for participating in other forums. To make up for this, I'll share one entertaining thread from the electrical audio board. Maybe if everyone just shared stuff from the boards they're REALLY reading now it's be more interesting around here.
So, a little background. This board is a borderline 40 something environment and predominantly male. There are the usual paranoids, libertarians, etc, along with a lot of shop talk and people obsessed with aluminum guitars. So... this thread was started by someone wanting to sell a rare guitar. At some point it draws in Albini, his girlfriend, and Vincent Gallo. And action!

Aside from here, I read the Fortean Times board
Of course I am a regular to daisynne.com
Speaking of which, why did you remove the last post/story?

It really means a lot to me that you read it!
As for the last post (and the Gabriel one), I ended up taking them down because I started to feel like they were horribly below par. When I come off my meds, I cannot delude myself.
I'm back on the meds now, so I will re-read them and see. If they are not too vilely plebian, I'll stick them back up.
At times, I feel like the world's biggest hack.
I lurk a couple of comics boards since no one here cares about comics but I don't post there either. My theory, completely unfounded in any kind of empirical research, is that the nigh-decade-long slow death of pp.com is probably reflective of a gradual demise of general social messageboards ("planet part") as profile networking sites have grown in popularity since the early '00s. Why run the risk of having to interact with some strange person on the Internet when you can now filter it so that you will only meet other people exactly like yourself?
Totally. Although, even though I use MS, I only spend as much time there as it takes to read bulletins, blogs and various messages. There are only two things I like about the features at myspace:
1: I like knowing that someone has read a message that I sent to them
2. I like using it to find new music
other than that, I'm not a big fan of it.
