As to where, in no particular order:
Marfa, West Texas. I'm hoping Arizona Greg will meet me out there and watch the lights with me.
Chicago, because I want to see you and Mindy and Derek Erdman, and Michael. Also, I want to witness this dreadful weather you keep talking about and make my own judgements.
Washington DC, so I can see my friend Lila, and Carmen and Opie.
Cleveland, so I can finally have coffee with R.John, even if we missed out on doing drugs together. I do not want to see the Hall of Fame, though.
North Carolina, so I can see my friend Jeff play live.
South Carolina, so I can see my friend Niel play live.
Nashville Tenn. to see Alan.
Memphis for for the blues.
Lincoln Nebraska to see Steve.
Oregon, for the cold desert.
New York City, so I can see my friend Cory and maybe Jonny will have tea with me. Maybe Kev will let me come to Geneva and say hi, and maybe Amber and Ben will show me Rochester.
New Jersey to see the hubby before he goes to Darfur, and Debby, and also see all those Springsteen songs in action.
Lowell, Mass for Jack's grave.
Mt. St. Helen's in Washington for Batsquatch watching, then seattle to see my friend Joey.
West Virginia to see Sarah and snake handlers.
Monroe, Louisiana to see my friend Brad.
Las Vegas to see my friend Jerry and Connie.
New Mexico to see Randy.
San Francisco for obvious nostalgia, but then get the fuck out of Dodge before it sucks you back in.
Big Sur for the Henry Miller museum, and to hear those dreadful waves from such a brilliant book.
Los Angeles to see Dustin and Ryan and Sondra and Jeff and Jesse And Amy.
San Diego to track down my friend Derek.
Pioneertown California, because it is awesome.
I want to do it all by train and do lots of filming.
By the end of it, I may even be ready to stay in one place again for a while.
