h=ey there
anyone besides mirNDA B into the byg actuel series?:
my sis just went to LA
and didnt see none of you posers,
but found it necessary
to hook me up w/
archie shepps "poem for malcolm" and Sun Ra "solar myth orchestra" vol 1.
ok, so shepp goes off on side 1 with a screaming poem lamenting malcolm x. ('read the FBI files yet>? theyve been chasing him since theKKK chased his daddy out of michigan. also the word "vagina" in reference to US Vietnam policy is used/

Sun Ra "Solar Myth vol 1" is amazing. its been about three yrs since i heard this series of his work. a lil bit lo-fi for my tastes (on vol 1 you can actually hear where the bootleggers started the tape!)
but side 2 blows my feeble mind. how can one play a MOOG to sound like broken guitar strings? we suny ray dun found a ray
or way. dig it. more jim beam for the free jazz scene, i sup.
also, pack the pipe before dropping the needle on these maserepieces!
