I want to start a new religion

It will be based on Young Gods by Marvel comics. The premise of the religion is that we are young gods meant to mature as celestial beings and eventually create life on other planets. How should I go about raising converts? I also want to start making adult movies.

No one is going to respond

No one is going to respond to this, so I'm going to discuss something else. I think it is funny that Paul M Davis had such a strong hand at filtering out the spam and fake accounts before and now that they are ignoring it, it isn't that bad. Things aren't really falling apart. See, he was just power hungry. He's probably going to read this and think, "Ungrateful. Doesn't realize that I do a bunch of work on this thing for free." Well, let's pull the plug. Obviously the spam is too much to handle, too much bandwidth. It can't go on. it is a blight on an otherwise utopian cyber oasis.

Leaflets are generally a good way to raise converts. Can't beat a good leaflet.

I was actually opposed to the heavy-handed spam deletion that used to go on here. I mean, people couldn't even post about their unsigned or independent bands in TMTM without getting deleted and told to buy ad space.

Dude, if you really want to succeed as a religion, you need a good martyr. Nothing brings the people out like a martyr they can deposit all their dreams and fears on to.

There's a lot to it. First

There's a lot to it. First you have to read all the back issues of Young Gods. Then you have to become a scientist and get a job at NASA.

I have like a 5 Charisma. It is difficult for me even to pay for food and board at an inn without some random villager attacking me.
