After much fruitless slacking and insubordination, I discovered that the real key to successfully losing a job is to have the son of the CFO graduate from business school without enough skill or ambition to look for a job on his own. After all the hard work I put into trying to get the boot, it was basic nepotism and none of my efforts that finally sealed the deal. Takes all the sense of accomplishment out of it, really. Just in time for the 13 week extension... Phew!
