You'll never out my secret identity. You're just sorry you won't be there to step with me, rude boy--unless your location of "nowhere [i'd] know" is actually the little Boston suburb that I'd never heard of before I landed here...it's not, is it? Becase I could use a show buddy for when my ladyfriend is busy with grad school.

hup hup.

I like Boston and would like to live there someday, but I'm afraid that won't be possible for a few more years.

And by that time you'll probably have left.

I'm here for three for sure and then, lard willing and the crick don't rise, I'll be headed for either a comics job in NYC or back to my belov'ed Chicago.

I wouldn't be able to move there for at least three years.

But I might move back to Chicago someday.

If you figure out where EA POE's grave is then you might get an idea where todd hangs his head in shame.

Oh, you KNOW I know where that is. Does this mean he's the amontillado fiend, leaving his tribute yearly on the master's grave??!!? TODD'S A GOTH!

for thems what care, the show was fun. Wish they'd played more Selecter songs so we could have heard more of Pauline...there just aren't as many frontwomen in this music and any time one can see one, one wants more. I still get that nagging feeling, though, whenever I see a reunion or revival tour, that it's a little sad, a little melancholy, that it's not what it was before. That's why I skipped a few notable reunions in the last year (Gang of Four, Misson of Burma--though Mission turned out grand and is turning out some great new stuff that definitely follows from their previous work. Didn't skip the Pixies; wouldn't have missed that for the world).

Good crowd, but got stuck next to some BU frosh/sophs and I couldn't help but think hey, when I was your age, we were enjoying the previous ska revival, and here you are now, the age I was then, screaming about this fourth(?) wave revival. Touching. Also, there were alot of 35-45 year old men--dudes, really--dancing badly but with great affection. Also touching. In some cases literally and sweatily, eugh. My first trip to the Middle East: a good venue, non-smoking (a plus in my book, not just because I could wear the same shirt last night and today to my job interview, mwa ha), and the sound was nicely mixed and not searingly loud, though I did regret not packing earplugs. Whatevs; I've already seared the high freq out a few times. What's one more. *sigh*
