by oi_to_punks | 10/09/2006 | in North Korea | Politics

Rector scales picked it up on the level as heroshima and nuclear fall out has been detected.

This is some scary stuff. We're looking at either the second korean conflict or the makings of WWIII.

It has been confirmed that there was no such dangerous radioactive emission in the course of the nuclear test as it was carried out under a scientific consideration and careful calculation

Of course I'm not sure I believe that.

But in any case, let's start a betting pool as to when we start bombing.

I tagged your content under "politics" and "North Korea" I also used all my willpower possible not to correct your spelling. But seriously--maybe give things a read-through before you post?

Oi!

Hehe, anyway. It just so happens that my last 18-20 months in the Navy were spent as a North Korea analyst. Now clearly I can't go into details, but suffice it to say that there is a very real danger in all of this. And WW III it will be. Or perhpas it will carry its own moniker.

Here's what you need to know. In a book called "The High Cost of Peace" the relationship between North Korea and Iran is laid out quite clearly. In 1994, under President Clinton, the U.S. was drawing up battle plans for the DPRK.

Why? Because the Iranians were in secret talks with Kim Il-Sung to end the armistice and reopen hostilities on the Korean peninsula in order to create a second front for the Americans to fight while Iran invaded and destroyed Israel.

The fact that Bush (and I'm sorry if you like him) has already invaded one of the three countries on the "Axis of Evil" list, named at the very onset of his administration, and has the other two in front of the U.N. Security Council --- just as he did with Iraq, is concerning to me. Bush had all out war in mind when he took office. He honestly thinks that he's championing the good cause.

Anyway, the Iranians decided not to go through with the plan because Kim Il-Sung fell ill and they did not trust Kim Chong-Il to lead the KPA troops. And about that, they were wise. KCI is an honest to god loony toon. He's nuttier than a Planters factory. But that's another reason to fear him.

Some points of interest:

* The Taepodong 2 has never been successfully flown and, despite the lies that George Tenet told to Congress, they CANNOT reach the U.S. save for a TINY fraction of the Aleutian Islands in Alaska, and not even Hawaii!

* Do not believe what you hear from Russia or China. They are both now or were Communist nations, an influence which does not just dissipate over night. Kim Il-Sung was a Major in the Soviet Army, he was installed by Russian powers. China forced us out of the Korean war because they did not want a U.S. puppet democracy on their border, why would that be any different now?

* Bush was NEVER interested in WMD. Check Google for a ship named the So San. Bush's people tracked it from North Korea headed to the middle east, boarded it, found missiles, and GAVE IT BACK!

Really? I'd love to hear his take on the whole situation. I felt duped. I was even given a JSAM for this evolution. For what? The Navy never recognized real progress, and mostly focused on what was media-friendly.

Was he a U.S., or Spanish sailor?
