Punk Planet was to me, a sort of revelation, through this magazine I found that there were other people out there who thought like me, and that wanted to change things in this world like I did. The magazine reinforced all the things I believed in and inspired me to stick to them, even though many people I know believe they are too "radical" or "outrageous". Punk Planet also gave me the chance to let my voice be heard when in PP79, Anne gave me the chance to write an article on my high school. When the issue came out, I was ecstatic to be there in pages alongside people which I really respect. I guess what I'm trying to say is thanks everyone at Punk Planet for everything.
What Punk Planet Meant to Me
i stumbled across punk planet somewhere between boston and new york. i was halfway through my year of volunteering in the states. and i was afraid in a strange kind of way that time. i'm not sure how to express this. it was like a constant gut-feeling world peace was just a stupid illusion.
and then i found punk planet, so free, open and optimistic. to the first issue i ever read i clung to like a bible.
i just want to thank you for four years of bi-monthly happiness.
