As usual in these forums...my brain is fried

by semitechgeek | 01/18/2007

Fellow PP Posters:

This may seem a bit cheesy and slightly weird but i need your help. The label i help run, Recourse Records, are planning to grow a bit more in 2007. A few more venues, raise more startup cash and other business stuff.

Personally I'm just curious, for either the perspective of an artist or the perspective of the customer, what should a label be? What do you, either or, want a label to do?

I have a few ideas, but i always know that out there someone has a better perspective than i do.

Thanks

PS: We also finally started up a new website www.recourserecords.net Alot better that just using MySpace and a small tribute to those that have helped us get this far.

But I think your new website should have a BANDS link at the top and maybe a page or two about each artist.

overall, it looks pretty good.
