We got an email from someone today congratulating us on our award! Which is great, because we were very excited to hear we had one won! Except that we have received no other notification of an award!
So if you would like to please award our li'l magazine something, we'd really appreciate it! But please tell us what it is!
As Anne mentioned, PUNK PLANET was nominated for "Zine of the Year" for the 2007 Plug Awards. We're under "Media Categories: (Obsessive)" I have no idea what the obsessiveness is referring to, but I'm just glad we're not '(General).' That would be SO embarrassing!
So this is just another reminder to vote, because unlike voting for senatorial candidates and local policies about casinos and where to build a new megamall and stuff, the PLUG awards focus on INDEPENDENT MEDIA! AND MUSIC! (And unlike other elections, independents can actually WIN!)
