Why do I have to be such a coward to tell this guy i like him!!! we have almost everything in common and he makes me laugh. I know some of ya don't want to hear this shit but you clicked on it an i need to get this out some how. man, why can't i just get the gutz to do it though i've told people i liked them before why can't i do it now. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHh!!@!!

Just in case anyone cares, using the "X" to say "Christmas" is the equivalent of "Christ", because in the Orthodox Church there's this thing called "Hi Ro" or "Chi Ro", which represents Christ's rebirth. "Chi" represents the Christ part, and in Greek lettering this sound is represented by an "X".

I mention this because I'm gonna cut out of work at 3 to go drinking and maybe dance around to something stupid like some ska or whatever. Happy non-denominational holiday to all, have fun peeing into snowballs and throwing them at small children like I do!

Check it out, it's the shiz-nite yo. Matt Pullman, the brains behind Late Night Wallflower, did it. I'll have another column up there soon as well, now that school is almost done for the semester.

B)I just recorded myself singing and playing guitar...holy shit I suck.

C)Last night I was chilling with my best friend and we were going through a bunch of music she had. I can't believe it took me so long to figure out how much alot punk rock really stinks. Especially local bands. I feel increidbly blessed to be able to have discovered the good bands I like compared with all the crap out there.

I am too cool to listen to Everclear. Everclear, those crap mongers who would live beside the ocean leave you far behind in like 1995. During they're heyday I was listening mainly to Screeching Weasel, whose heyday was occuring at about the same time. Three weeks ago I was inexplicable drawn like a moth to a fucking lightbulb to the Everclear official website. And ladies, it's bad, too. I would not recommend a visit. Lots of soul patchery and fake fade jeans and band logo thongs--what Matt Dillon's character called "beer and lifestyle music" in the movie Singles just a few years before the mutual Everclear, Screeching Weasel heyday. I suppose I did appreciate them then for ushering out grunge, which I found and still find unrelatable. The radio was not so unsafe anymore.

I call it commuter-core. Those bands that make the most sense when they're blaring through your headphones as you rdie the bus or the subway. The songs that come through the car stereo non-stop and help you get through the morning, soldier through the day, and then ride home to begin the cycle anew.

So yeah...rise above.

Oh, curse television and your appeal! Like a pile of sweet, delicious kosher pickles in front of a recovering kosher pickle addict, you tempt me away from doing what is right and correct and in line with what MUST BE DONE! Namely, my paper. Friggin' grad school and your assignments, why must you keep me from eating pickles and watching TV?

I sorta danced around in my cubicle at work today to the Zero Zero CD "AM Gold", but only because there was no one else around to witness me bust a move.

I went out for Italian food tonight, and now I'm watching some "documentary" on TV about heavy metal. Before that I was watching some lame TV movie with Bigfoot.

I've noticed a trend in a rise of "real" cable-tv talk show hosts. White men who feel that they're "keeping it real" and "un-PC" by being bullies and bigots and just yelling and acting like they know what they're talking about when they dismiss human rights, talk about sexuality, and "debating" with people who have differing opinions than them.

So basically, by just being an asshole with money, I could be a TV star by basically telling feminists to "lighten up".

"Mythbusters" is an awesome show.

Oh yeah, and I'm stoked about upcoming stuff from Cloak/Dagger and Fucked Up from Jade Tree Records. And the new Strike Anywhere, that's dope shit.

I think I'm developing insomnia. Or at the very least some sort of sleep disorder. I get at least 8 hours a night...but it's very broken up. And I'm still tired all day.

I just tell myself it's the sign of impending genius...but it still sucks.

In brighter news, Le Tigre are still better than any band you like. "This Island" is probably one of my top 10 albums of recent years. It makes me wanna be all dance-arific.
