If this sounds familiar, good memory. I originally wrote this as an article in Virus Magazine over a year ago. But now it exists in vlog format as well. =)

imadethismistake: mini-interview and candid live performance
I'm directing a second music video for indie folk punk band imadethismistake. Kylewilliam, the band's only member, stopped by today while his tour made its way through Chicago so we could film his scenes for the video.
The above video is a few snippets of our conversation, and a live performance of "Boy With A Broken Jaw". Enjoy! =)
Excuse me, Mr. Obama...
In a pretty historic (in my opinion) event, YouTube has partnered with CNN to allow its users to submit questions for the 2008 Presidential Debates. Anyone with a video camera and a YouTube account can upload a video in which they ask their question. If your question/video is selected by YouTube and CNN, it will air live on national television on Monday, July 23rd during the debate and your question will be answered by the Presidential hopefuls.
I’ve submitted the above question/video, in which I talk a little about media consolidation and deregulations.
for Dan and Anne...
The body of your blog entry is too short. You need at least 10 words.
Ugh. Jenny brought home a new roommate...
At least this one won't fight you for the bathroom in the morning.
my first attempt at a music video
I just finished creating this for the band imadethismistake. They're from Florida and are releasing their next album "tomorrow, we start new" on Valiant Death Records and Bonfire Club Records.
You can preorder the album now, or wait for it to "drop" on CD and vinyl next month.
monies from the internets?!
YouTube.com started sharing its ad revenue with users of the site and announced so in their public blog last Thursday. Only a handful of the most popular users were given “Partner” accounts as a way to test the new features and business model.
This isn’t the first time users of a website are being paid for creating original, independent content – but it’s one of the first times it’s happening on such a popular site. According to Alexa.com, YouTube is the 4th most visited site on the web currently.
YouTube has posted a form that other interested users of the site can fill out to stay in the loop for possible future upgrades to “Partner” accounts.
