Sure, but why 'ponk ass biotch?' Why not 'shew forth' or 'bailiwick' or 'bellwether' or a word or phrase I actually like?

Large phone companies faced a massive public outcry in 2006 when they attempted to pass a terrible telecommunications bill in Washington. Now they're pushing a law in Springfield that would undercut local authority, threaten public access channels and cut off many communities in Illinois from accessing new technologies.

You can help stop this bad bill by taking action today. The Illinois House Telecommunications Committee is holding a hearing on House Bill 1500 on Wednesday. Call Rep. John Fritchey and urge him to oppose the bill.

Dear The Internet,

I appreciate your seemingly growing alarm about my weight problem, as evidenced by the daily flurry of emails I receive on the subject which make such promises as "You'll love the new, non-obese you," "Say goodbye to extra pounds," "Melt away fat easily," "Check out the wonders of pound melting," "Pounds down, mood up," "Shed weight now and enjoy the process," "This will help to eat less and have more fun," and "End the annoying obesity now."

Unfortunately, while provocative and probably very useful to some people, these enticements do not actually interest me in any way. Because, you see, I do not actually have—nor do I percieve myself to have—a weight problem.

while looking up high-school crushes on the internet last night, i found a website reputed to feature "quotations" from "famous people" such as "anne moore".
