Isn't sitting around writing songs bitching about police action and foreign policy just as assinine as writing about it on the internet? For all his complaining about the US government, Jello Biafra never once tried to assassinate the president, or form a militia, or even join a separatist group.
At any rate, the political blogs I read tend to be a lot more factually accurate than any punk song I've heard.
